Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the On Call phone for?
A: The On Call phone is held by staff members with authority so guests can get in touch. In the event of an emergency (fire or accident) please call 999 and use the What 3 Words on the front of the welcome pack before notifying the on call team.
All text messages will be answered between 9am-5pm unless it is an emergency.
Q: Is the pool just for us?
A: If you have booked The Barn or Poachers Barn then each of these properties come with a private pool, just for you.
If you are booked in any of our other properties, you will be sent a link to book your time slots in our pool complex. The time slot is for your property only!
Q: How big are the pools?
A: 8m x 4m and 1.4m deep.
Q: Is there anything we need to know about the pools?
A: We pool test every day first thing in the morning, we will grab a sample of pool water and test it to ensure there is adequate chlorine and that the PH and alkalinity are correct. To do this we need access to the pool for just a couple of minutes to get the sample. If we need to dose the pool with anything we will do this as quickly as possible and ensure the pool is ready to be used by 9am at the latest.
If you plan to bring inflatables please keep these away from all doors when not in use.
The pools are preset to 26-28c, we try to keep it to the upper temperature but the air condition and cover being left off will alter the water temperature.
